Hello! I’m Emily Chenoweth, the author, co-author, or ghostwriter of more than 25 novels. I’ve also been a teacher, a magazine editor, an advertising agency proofreader, and a bartender at a grill-your-own steakhouse.

Every Friday, I send out a free weekly writing prompt that’s designed to spark your creativity and to clarify, expand, and/or challenge your thinking about whatever project you’re currently working on, be it prose or poetry, fiction or memoir. If you’re not already writing something, these prompts will help you start.

Paid subscribers receive an additional weekly email featuring productivity tips, writing advice, book recommendations, and/or whatever writing-adjacent tidbits I think are too good to keep to myself. They also have access to subscriber-only discussion threads and online generative writing sessions.
